Tokyo Metropolitan Government High School Industry-University Collaborative Lesson
December 07, 2022
For two days on November 22 and 29,
At Tokyo Metropolitan Horticultural High School, which is indebted to me every year,
Yoshida, the general Food manager, and Ohneda, the Food manager of the Palace Building store,
I visited the general practical training of the food department as a lecturer.
This year's schedule is also for the second week in a row.
For two weeks in a row, we held a series of classes on "soba noodles."
~Day 1~
First, Ohneda will show you the practical skills while explaining the tips and points.
The third-year students in the food department took notes firmly and looked very serious.
Finally, it's time for practical training.
Everyone started making soba noodles using a kneading bowl and a rolling pin.
I was confused by the amount of water and the amount of powder, but I managed to finish it in shape.
~Day 2~
Some students who were awkward in the first time,
What a surprise for the second exercise! I've improved amazingly.
I was able to make beautiful soba noodles like a lecturer.
Is it made by the instructor or by the students? ... Soba noodles made so well that it is impossible to distinguish.
Of course, the boiling was perfect, and everyone was delighted, saying "It's delicious!"
This year, there were 10 people, and while there were more people than usual, it was bright and hakihaki.
They asked me a lot of questions about things I didn't understand.
While I was overwhelmed by the energy of the young people (laughs), I was able to have a very fun class.
Mr. Tagawa of Horticultural High School,
Thank you very much to all the students.
And thank you for your hard work for two days.
I hope that in the future, there will be at least one student who is interested in soba noodles.
In that case, please come to report to the INATAYA as well. Thank you for this time.
